Dark December Days

Whilst the month of November was all about stones and campers, the month of December is about celebrations.

Being Dutch, we had of course the St Nicolas festivities, shortly followed by our son's 7th birthday

and of course the upcoming holidays

We wish every body a wonderful Xmas and all the best and warm wishes for a green and sustainable 2015!

November News

Just a little photo update for the month of November, mainly dominated by

- the old ruined farmhouse
fortunately we received some help with emptying it...They removed about 46m3 of soil and stones..impressive. Would have take us much longer if we'd have done it by hand (as was the plan originally)

- and our chocolate brown new project

What a beautiful summer it was....

I am currently uploading all kinds of beautiful pictures to update the website a little bit, but it will take some time to finalize. For a sneak preview, have a look at the Dutch version of our photo book. No words needed.....:-)

From Summer to Autumn...

The weather is changing, but the sun stays...the colors are changing, but it remains beautiful.....whatever changes, you will be always welcome here!

The Cosy Caravan is available from now until the end of the month. If you prefer to come in October, the cottage will be ready for you from 4th of October onwards.....

Goodies from the sea...

through streets broad and narrow,
crying cockels and mussels,
alive alive oh!!
I can't help myself singing this song every time we are out to search to the little shells....

The crabs & Shrimps directly from the fisherman
The periwinkle & oysters picked up on the rocks
And we will save the clams for tomorrow....:-)

Brittany & Fruit de Mer....a combination hard to beat!

 Home made mayonaise, farmer's bread and a broth made with the heads of the langoustines....divine!
