Our vintage Cosy Caravan has gone through a makeover in 2023 and is now called The Cosy Cabin ! A unique vintage camping experience, glamping in a cosy, eco-friendly way whilst enjoying the comfort of a mobile home!
A few years ago, Stefanie van der Maas from the food blog Little Spoon visited us and wrote a piece about the caravan and her holiday with us ...
Caravanity 's inspiring website was also very enthusiastic!
From Cosy & Caravan to Cosy & Cabin:
In 2013, we created a special corner on our property for our vintage caravan, a genuine Constructam from 1969, which we've been building a cabin over since 2023. After 10 years of loyal service, our Cosy Caravan has become The Cosy Cabin!
Sleeping & Chilling:
The caravan accommodates 2 to 4 people. Inside the caravan itself, on the left side is a spacious, comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm) with real mattresses, and on the right side is the sitting area with a table and benches, which can easily be converted into two additional (children's) sleeping places. There's ample storage space in the tall cabinets and the wardrobe on the left side. For slightly older children, there are two options: the Cabin has a sofa bed with a pull-out bed, but for the ultimate camping adventure, we can also set up a sleeping tent in the garden.
The beds are made on arrival and towels are ready.

Cooking & EatingWe don't use the kitchenette in the caravan, but in the new section, we've built a spacious kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, a sink and refrigerator, a dining table, and a cozy sitting area. The front of the Cabin can be opened almost completely to fully enjoy the garden, the sun, and the birds.

Peeing & Washing:
The cabin has a bathroom with its own ecological compost toilet, a shower with a thermostatic tap, a private boiler, and stunning views. The sink in the kitchen can be used for brushing teeth.

Playing & Sunbathing
In front of the Cabin, a section of the garden is reserved for you, complete with a dining table and two comfortable lounge chairs. The kids can play endlessly in the garden, complete with sandbox, swing, playhouse, and more, or go on an adventure in the dinosaur forest. Should you unexpectedly need to do some laundry, you can! The shared washing machine is at your disposal.
